Just like a good manager makes himself superfluous, the Friends of Bambanani want to make schools and the Bambanani organization in South Africa sustainably self-reliant. A local, South African non-profit organization has been set up for this purpose: the Bambanani Community Development Organization (BCDO). We are working hard on further shaping the BCDO and hope to have the team composition in order this year, with coordinators in the following areas:

• Education
• Agriculture
• Health
• Sports
• Schools
• Admin

The focus of fundraising must also shift from the Netherlands to South Africa in the coming years. Fortunately, we see that more and more local parties recognize the usefulness and necessity of the Bambanani work and support it financially!
