So many children, so many stories. A each visit there are a few stories that will you will keep in mind. When visiting ELC Pfukani, I did not enter the fence yet, or a kid grabbed my hand. In itself not special, it happens often. But this boy drawing attention to keep the other kids from my neighborhood. Principal Grace told me that he had lost both his parents last month and he now lives with his grandmother. Unfortunately, this was not the first time, there are more Bambanani children who have lost their parents … The teachers can not take the pain away. But what they can do: they provide much needed comfort, structure and distraction. And meanwhile they teach, take care of the vegetable garden and put the kids healthy meals. Respect!
